Reviews
This place is solid. We went for lunch. The interior is very dated but it’s clean and the food is fast, hot and pretty good. We ordered two lunch specials and both were delicious. I ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken and was happily surprised to see there was actually more chicken than breading . The portion sizes are huge so if you are a light eater, you might want to split a plate. The cream cheese, wontons were the best I’ve had in Salem and don’t forget to order the egg rolls. They’re super crispy and tasty . The prices are very affordable. I will definitely eat here again. Our total with tip was $36. The service was fast.
Ordered out for lunch. Lots of food, friendly staff!
Unfortunately there's a reason the prices are so great... The food was not good. I'm the kind of person who usually eats all of my lunch. Today I kept the chicken and got rid of the rest.
The Lo Mein was salty, the egg roll should have been called a burrito (btw the special dipping sauce is watered down ketchup). Then there was a dish I had never had before. A gravy covered egg dish... I ate half to be fair but again, super salty and unpleasant.
The two decent 3.5/5 items were fried rice and sweet and sour chicken.
My wife had the beef and vegetable and said she would say at best 2/5 stars.
The quality of food here has made me be er want to come back, even if the price is amazing.
I give 5 stars because this place does everything right.Very nice people great service, I ordered sweet and sour shrimp, house fried rice and Mongolian beef nothing exciting.Well I was pleasantly surprised large shrimp not salad shrimp in the rice and lots of peas and carrots and 3 other kinds of meat. The sweet and sour shrimp were a solid 2 bite affair thin crispy outer shell, impressive. The Mongolian beef was so tender with lots of scallions and just look at the picture it's stunning. These dishes are my favorite comfort food and every place does them differently.I recommend trying the hot and sour soup.
Food quality great
Food quantities exceptional
Service quick and responsive
Restaurant was clean, well lit, and had nice devoted
We frequent this restraint for special occasions and when we are in the area.
This was some of the best Chinese food I have had. The service was great, too. The location has seen better days, though.
This is my favorite chinese restaurant! I love their szechuan chicken, and their barbecue pork is to die for.
There have been a few small errors in my times visiting, such as a small piece of cartilage/bone in the food, and getting the wrong type of meat in the dish. However, the customer service is delightful and are willing to correct mistakes with grace.
Their food is fresh. The barbecue pork is unlike any I've had. Other places' pork reminds me more of jerky than freshly cooked meat, but here it is tender and flavorful.
The atmosphere is cozy. It's pretty much what you'd expect from a chinese dining experience (at least in my experience).
I will be coming back. Again and again. 💖
This is one of my favourite places. The food is great and the people efficient. Always a peaceful place for lunch.
The first time I had wonton soup not much flavor . This time had the sweet and sweet chicken and cashew chicken still no flavor and the cashew chicken was floating in some kind of sauce ( weird) I added my own pickled ginger and hot sauce to get some flavor. The next time my wor k goes there I think I will pass
